In his mind, there's a whole world residing in the snow melt puddle. Tress grow upside down there, birds fly deep beneath his feet, sunlight reflects intensely and warm, and whatever he can't see - he looks for with his finger. When he touches the whole world in the snow melt puddle, he plays with it, he changes it, he affects it, he has mighty powers.

But only when his soaked boots allow the freezing water into his socks - he wrinkles his face, runs to mom and asks her to take them off. The world in the puddle is gone, and with it, for a while, the magic of a child's imagination...
