Metal bonds / Standing curved / Roots Burmis Tree, Highway #3 towards Crowsnest Pass, Alberta, Canada
|
|
As promised, here are few more photos of the famous Burmis tree of Alberta. I tried to take photos from other angles, different from the one mostly captured with the mountains in the background. The first photo is a close-up of the tree's roots and the metal bindings which keep it standing. The second photo shows the tree from a different angle, just so you can realize how | bent it is. There's a support pole there, which I cropped out since it feels right like that. The third photo is of the roots system of a tree that lays down just besides the Burmis tree. I'm not sure if it's another part of the original tree that fell down years ago, or another tree that was just beside it. I liked the textures of the roots, so took a photo of them as well. |
